The Arkatika-M weather satellite will be launched into orbit at the end of February18.01.2021
This time, the Arktika-M (Arctic-M) weather satellite will be launched into orbit within the time frame announced in November 2020. In Kazakhstan, at the Baikonur cosmodrome, the Fregat upper stage preparation, which will put the Arctic-M into orbit, has begun. In the coming days, the satellite will be brought to the cosmodrome. We are waiting for a new weather satellite — one of two high-orbit weather satellites that should monitor the weather in the Arctic, in orbit at the end of February 2021.
